Cap stainless steel (butt weld cap), also known as pipe cap, is one of the stainless steel accessories used to seal pipes to prevent flow by welding at the end of the pipe. Stainless steel welding cups are manufactured using stainless steel materials 304, 316, 316L and 304L.
If classified by design and connection method, solder cups can be classified as: Threaded weld cap, stainless steel weld cap (butt-weld cap) and flat weld cap (socket weld cap).

The length E applies to the weld cup for a thickness not exceeding the indicators in the column “Limited pipe length for length E”.
Length E1 applies to weld cups with thicknesses greater than the indicators in the column “Tube length limits for length E” and a maximum NPS of 24 inches.
For NPS of 26 and above, length E1 will be produced by agreement between the seller (manufacturing factory) and the buyer.
